Above & Beyond Senior Services

The mission of Above & Beyond Senior Services is to provide the senior community the ability to safely remain in their homes for as long as possible.  This is accomplished by providing comprehensive safety assessments, recommendations for a safe living environment, and support implementing the recommendations.  If the decision is made to relocate we provide help with downsizing, packing, and set-up to allow for a worry-free transition.  The assessments and relocation assistance will be provided by knowledgeable, experienced, compassionate therapists dedicated to keeping persons safely in their homes.

Our Business

By background, Michelle is a physical therapist and Allison is an occupational therapist. Together we have 17 years of experience in geriatric rehabilitation.

We have experienced increasing frustration with the limited time we are able to spend on home safety assessments. We have seen many clients and families overwhelmed with carrying out the recommended changes, purchasing equipment, and setting-up services for their loved one. This is especially difficult for families that live out of the area. Ideally, we want to avoid crisis versus respond to it. Our goal is to work proactively to prevent crisis and keep individuals safely at home as long as possible.

Who We Are

Allison Bakke, OTR/L

 Allison has spent her career specializing in cognitive testing and treatment.  She enjoys working with older adults and learning each person's individual "story."  Allison is married to Jason and they have two young sons, Jake and Jack.

Michelle Clawson-Stokes, PT 

Michelle in her 10 years of practice has specialized in balance and fall prevention.  She is married to Judd and they have two sons, Devon and Samuel.
